“Maybe there is a naïveté in my approach. I never had a guitar lesson when I started out. I've always felt that when you don't learn all the rules, you're much more inclined to break them with a smile.”
(Musician Landon Pigg)

This quote pretty much sums up my approach to photography. These photos were taken by me, for me. I took them to as a keepsake for myself of a time and/or place that I had seen and in the way that I had seen them. My photos don’t necessarily follow the rules that one might find in photography textbooks, actually, they are probably breaking most of those rules. I like my photos to evoke memories in me when I look at them. Often times I can look at one of my photos and remember the smell of fresh cut hay in the air or almost feel a hot summer breeze. Over time I started to share some of my photos with friends and family, and now I am sharing them here with you. I hope that you enjoy them and maybe one might just stir a memory of yours.
